Bad Port messages:
Bad Port messages are generated whenever you access a Web Site
that uses non-standard ports. Normally when you visit a Web Site
you are accessing Port 80. Some sites use Port 8080 as a Portal
that can only be reached via there Web Site. Crack Sites will
normally use non-standard Ports so that they can run on
the same IP address and their legitimate Web Site. Example;
www.163.net is a legitimate Web Site in China, severing pages on
Port 80. At the same IP address is a crack site operating on Port
8080. Some fiancial institutions will use a Port like 8080 once
you have logged in.
These Bad Port messages are intented to tell you that you are no longer on the main stream of the Web.
